The Bloedel Reserve moss garden in Bainbridge Island, WA

Dipsea Trail, from Old Mill Park in Mill Valley to Stinson Beach, Marin, CA. Free 7-mile hike that includes substantial uphill including endless set of stairs at start. Incredible view of Pacific Ocean and coast line in the last quarter.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near Mevagissey in Cornwall, England. The Moss Maiden and her Giant friend reside here.

Japanese Tea Garden San Francisco, in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco near the DeYoung Museum, includes moss lawns, waterfalls and mossy rocks.

Muir Woods National Monument Marin, CA (forest with lots of moss, see trees by parking lot; parking is scarce and park is crowded due to over abundance of visitors; consider the Dipsea Trail listed below as an alternative.
